CURRENT PROJECT

The focus of Mazoch´s current work is the Mexicon female rodeo sport called Escaramuza. Her photographs have won awards from the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and a Mexican book publisher will publish her photo book on the Escaramuza in 2012.

2001-2007 AP staff photographer in Caracas, Venezuela

2000-2001 Staff photographer at the Brownsville Herald on the Texas border with Mexico.

1994-1999 Graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, specializing in photojournalism & Spanish. Worked at UT´s daily student newspaper The Daily Texan and worked a summer photography internship at Newsday in NY.

1997-98 Studied Fine Art at Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
